Sharing the light.

Each body is a temple, sacred and unique, regardless of its outer shape. Every sentient being deserves to live unharmed and in peace. That’s why 15% of all your contributions is donated to organisations that fight against domestic violence and for animal rights.

Organisations supported

  • Blijf Groep

Blijf Groep helps to stop domestic violence. They offer assistance to all involved: victims, children, witnesses and perpetrators. Their aim is to stop the violence and create safety through customized support. Blijf Group offers both help at home as crisis shelters and residential support. They also offer an extensive support through groups for children, teenagers and adults.

  • Koeienrusthuis

Cows that are no longer productive are entitled to a carefree old age. That's the idea behind Stichting de Leemweg. Their foundation adopts and cares for cows from all over the Netherlands that have escaped from the slaughterhouse, have been neglected or, for whatever reason, have nowhere else to go. The animals that are sheltered by them have often literally looked death in the eye. At the Leemweg no cow or ox is ever slaughtered. With them they are allowed to ruminate in peace and quiet until they die of old age.

  • Animals of Ukraine

Since the war broke out, Animal ID has set up a coordination center in Ukraine to ensure food and medicine for animals in need and to help local animal heroes. Animal ID has a network of pet food suppliers and people willing to drive from shelter to shelter. They also have a storage facility for supplies, which they also make available to other animal conservationists. Animal ID mainly needs money to arrange logistics (fuel costs, special cars) and to buy food and medicines. Because some places are inaccessible, they transfer part of the donations directly to the relevant animal shelters and animal volunteers in need, so that they can still buy stuff themselves.

  • Safe Houses and Animal Therapeutic Center

Association of Safe Houses Nova is working in the field of protection and security of any endangered women and children who have become victims of violence, with the possibility of accommodation in their units. Due to growing demand, in 2005 they established an independent unit for men and children. Experience has shown the need to establish and maintain the coexistence of humans and animals. In 2013, they established an animal rights and therapy centre. The coexistence of humans and animals develops in the therapeutic centre and is an exceptional therapeutic tool for mutual socialisation and rehabilitation of the consequences of victims of violence and tortured animals.

  • Stichting Dierenopvang Amsterdam (DOA)

DOA is the biggest pet shelter in The Netherlands and they help thousands of animals every year to health and a new home. DOA takes in stray animals from the municipalities of Amsterdam, Beemster, Diemen, Edam-Volendam, Landsmeer, Purmerend and Waterland. Animals that the owner is (temporarily) unable to care for due to a crisis can also come to them.
